NSF Major Research Instrumentation 2016

NSF MRI seeks to improve the quality and expand the scope of research and research training in science and engineering by providing shared instrumentation that fosters the integration of research and education in research-intensive learning environments.

ORSP will conduct a review process to select up to three pre-proposals for advancement into full proposals to NSF for this limited funding opportunity. Pre-proposals are due to ORSP on November 20, 2015.

Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award Competition 2015

Program:  Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) has announced the Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award competition for 2015. These awards are intended to enrich the research and professional growth of junior faculty and result in new funding opportunities. Each award is $5,000 for one year (June 1 to May 31) and requires an institutional match of $5,000 (to provided by ORSP). UM internal due date for applications is December 11, 2014.
