The University of Mississippi (UM) Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) Division of Research Development (RD) solicits Phase 1 Notices of Intent to Compete to Lead 2022 NSF EPSCoR Track 2 research infrastructure improvement (RII) proposals to advance Industries of the Future.

NEH Summer Stipends 2022

ORSP welcomes internal applications from eligible tenured or tenure-track faculty interested in being nominated for NEH Summer Stipends Competitions (for summer 2022). UM is allowed only two nominees, and so ORSP conducts a competition to choose each year’s nominees.

The Summer Stipends program aims to stimulate new research in the humanities and its publication by supporting the work of individual scholars doing research or scholarly writing.

2021 NEP Coastal Watershed Grants Program

Restore America’s Estuaries recently announced the 2021 funding cycle for the National Estuary Program – Coastal Watershed Grants. This year, in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, they will award competitive grants to improve clean water, healthy ecosystems, and habitat restoration. Projects for this competition must address one or more of the following priorities: harmful algal blooms; loss of habitat; and/or flooding and coast erosion.

DoE EPSCoR Implementation Grants Limited Submission

UM faculty or members who are eligible to serve as Principal Investigator and are interested developing proposals for the current DOE EPSCoR Implementation Grants limited submission opportunity are invited to develop and submit the cover page and four-page pre-application, as described in the FOA, for institutional consideration.
