Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards Program

Program:  The Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards Program supports the research and teaching careers of talented young faculty in the chemical sciences. Based on institutional nominations, the program provides discretionary funding to faculty at an early stage in their careers. Criteria for selection include an independent body of scholarship attained within the first five years of their appointment as independent researchers, and a demonstrated commitment to education, signaling the promise of continuing outstanding contributions to both research and teaching. The Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards Program provides an unrestricted research grant of $75,000.

Nomination Procedure:  Institutions may make only one nomination annually for the Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards Program. All nomination materials and letters of support must be received at the Foundation office by the deadline of February 11, 2013.

ORSP Deadlines:  If you are planning/thinking to nominate someone, please let Jason Hale (jghale@olemiss.edu) know by January 4, 2013.  If we have more than one nomination, there will be an internal competition with a January 14, 2013 deadline.
