The ORSP Division of Technology Management negotiates all license and option agreements related to commercialization of University-owned technologies.

Standard terms for licensing UM technologies may involve several different arrangements. For example, upfront license fees, running royalties, and/or equity. Because each technology has a different market value and industry standards vary by technology, the exact arrangements are negotiated through the Director of Technology Management.
