The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs provides institutional support for faculty research, scholarship and creative activities.

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs:

• Provides limited assistance, through Faculty Travel Support, for UM faculty members to take part in development activities that will lead to new or extended research, scholarly or creative work.
• Provides limited support for seminars, colloquia, publications, and related departmental requests for faculty scholarship.
• Provides cost sharing assistance for proposals requiring University funds.
