Per diem charges for animal care are subject to change. Principal investigators should check the ORSP Animal Research website at http://www.research.olemiss.edu/cms/compliance/IACUC/vivarium/perdiem_rates for current per diem charges. Fees cover the basic rate per species including feed, bedding and maintenance supplies.
Notes
- Animal Inventory is taken on Wednesdays. Weekly inventory reports are sent to investigators. Any discrepancies should be rectified before the following week’s inventory is taken.
- Animal care is billed on a monthly basis with transfer vouchers being sent out during the first full week of each month. Signed transfer vouchers should be returned to the Animal Care office by the 15th of each month.
